Reviva Labs Rosewater Facial Spray

Image
Since reviewing the Reviva Labs Makeup Primer in January, Reviva Labs has been very generous in allowing me to try more of their products! I chose to try their Rosewater Facial Spray--I've never tried any type of facial spray before so I was really looking forward to testing it out! I've been using it for a month now and it is definitely another fantastic product! If you'd like some background on Reviva Labs do make sure to check out my last post HERE ! It's a pretty huge bottle. I've been using it almost everyday (sometimes multiple times a day) and it looks like I've hardly made a dent! One thing I noticed is that it says it is "for normal to dry skin." My skin is usually combination/oily: I get very oily in the t-zone but with the dryer weather the last few months my cheeks have been lacking in moisture. I think this product would be great for ANY skin type, even oily. It didn't make my skin feel or look oily at all despite adding more moisture

Mac Pearlglides: Undercurrent and Black Line

Image
Last month Mac released the Vera Collection which included a product I've been very curious to try for a longtime: the infamous pearlglide eyeliners! I've been wanting to venture into other eyeliner colors besides black and with the pearlglides boasting great weartime, rich color, and easy, smooth application, I knew I'd have to check them out! I purchased Undercurrent when the Vera collection released at my local Mac store in February and was SO excited when I found Black Line at a nearby Cosmetic Company Outlet (for cheaper!) this month! Here's the two colors I got. There are a couple other gorgeous colors but I wanted to try colors I don't own anything like! Undercurrent is a bright blue-green teal with gold shimmer. Black Line is a very dark, blackened olive green with lots of gold shimmer L-R: Undercurrent, Black Line & Sephora Jumbo Liner 12HR in kaki for comparison. Kaki is much lighter and greener than black line. I didn't have anything sim

Shimmering Green and Bright Coral Lips

Image
I know I'm wayyyy late for St. Patrick's Day, but I did a quick green look the other day! As you probably know from reading my blog I am completely obsessed with olive greens! I always like pairing greens with coral or peachy lips--Mac Vegas Volt is the perfect coral lip color now that the warmer weather is coming! I'll have to do a separate post on it soon because I love it so much! Soft Purple Toned Neutrals FOTD

I wanted to do a soft neutral look with my new inglot shadows! Here's what I came up with!! Hope it's not too boring ;) I also tried lining my lower waterline with a nude eyeliner instead of black! What do you think!? They say nude eyeliner helps make your eyes look bigger and brighter! Inglot Eyeshadow Swatches!

*Please also see updated January 2013 swatches posted   here Inglot is a fantastic makeup company that I discovered last year. They originated in Poland and have become more and more popular in the United States despite the small number of stores available. Inglot has all types of makeup products, but so far I've only tried the eyeshadows--but I am completely infatuated with them. I've had them for a long time but am finally getting around to posting about them now! Inglot has an absurd number of different colors to choose from subtle neutrals to vivid brights. The quality is absolutely amazing--every single eyeshadow I've bought from Inglot is buttery smooth with insane pigmentation! Even more amazing is the price tag--$5 a shadow! They are particularly famous for their mattes--they aren't chalky or dry at all and like the other finishes, blend effortlessly. All the finishes last all day over a primer. Honestly, i think they are more pigmented and smoother tha

Birthday FOTD!

Image
Hey everyone! Today (the 3rd!) was my birthday! Yay! I took a few quick photos of my makeup (and undried hair--oops!) so you could see what I decided to wear before heading out! Today was pretty casual so I didn't want to do anything really dramatic. My Hourglass Exhibition duo (see here ) has been getting a lot of love from me lately that I couldn't help but use on it on my birthday: you can't really go wrong with the combination of taupe and deep purple in my opinion!!
