Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer

Image
Hey guys! I just wanted to share with you a new(ish) drugstore product I've been really loving. I don't have too many under-eye issues--i usually have a bit of darkness but it's not too bad. I have always concentrated on covering up acne scars rather than my under-eye lol! Anyway, I picked up the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer and was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved it! It comes in a twist pen which I personally don't mind. It took alot of clicks to initially get the product through so make sure to keep twisting until it comes out lol! I've found that i only need one or two clicks of product per eye and then I still have some left over to apply around the nose, mouth and chin. I really, really love the consistency and coverage that I get from it. It feels very moisturizing under the eye and blends nicely so there is no tugging under the eye. It's not too thick or too runny, it's really the perfect in between consistency

New Target Beauty Bag for Summer Available!!

Image
I just wanted to give you all a quick heads up about the new Target Beauty Bag available on Target Style's facebook page HERE ! (the link is to their facebook page--I'm not affiliated or sponsored by Target in any way--just want to help you all get some free goodies!!) If you remember, I posted about one that I got last year--you can revisit that post  here ! It came with a really cute little makeup bag and a bunch of generous samples. It's also COMPLETELY FREE! So run don't walk to Target Style's facebook page, "like" the page and fill out the form to get your own before they run out! It will then arrive in around 6-8 weeks. Based on the promo image above it looks like they might be including a Revlon lip butter and a Rimmel Mascara! Those would be fantastic freebies (I am still obsessed with my Lip Butters! ) so fingers crossed! Let me know if you were able to sign up to get one!!! I had a bit of trouble with the website earlier but I

Mac dupe alert with Inglot!!

Image
I just got ahold of two more Inglot eyeshadows to add to my eyeshadow palettes (see HERE ). I noticed right away that they resembled two Mac eyeshadows that I already own so I thought I'd do some comparison swatches for you all! Mac Humid, Mac Jest As you may know from reading my original post on Inglot eyeshadows, I am a HUGE fan. I think the Inglot eyeshadow quality is absolutely amazing--every single one of their eyeshadows is smooth, buttery, pigmented, and blend effortlessly. At roughly $5 an eyeshadow, they are a ridiculous steal--I would honestly pay triple the amount for one--which brings me to about the cost of a Mac eyeshadow in pot. I do love a lot of my Mac eyeshadows--many of the colors are unique and have a wonderful texture. However, on the whole, I am really preferring Inglot eyeshadows now--I wish I knew about them years ago! Inglot 397 Pearl &  Inglot 418 Pearl Mac Humid & Jest both have a lovely texture--- they are both very smooth and pigm

New Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains

Image
I hope you guys don't get sick of my reviews of Revlon lip products, but i have yet another product from Revlon to show you: The Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains! This is the first time I've ever tried a lip stain product--I'm not sure there are many drugstore lip stains on the market (let me know in the comments if there are!) but when I saw these I knew I had to try them! Isn't the packaging cute? They are chubby pencils and they twist up from the bottom so no sharpener is needed! If you google Clinique Chubby sticks they look very  similar packaging wise although I've never tried them so I can't comment on the formula. I picked up three colors. I believe there are around twelve colors available. As you can see from the pictures, I got two bright pinks and a bright coral. In person Lovesick has more of a darker purple undertone in comparison to the hot pink Sweetheart, but they look very similar on the lips and in swatches. As I hate having nearly ide

Amazing Deal Alert at Big Lots!!

Image
The web has been buzzing recently with the arrival of Philosophy makeup products at Big Lots!! I know I've seen Philosophy at Sephora, Ulta, and high end department stores--so the fact that this high end brand is showing up in discount stores such as Big Lots (and I've seen body washes at TJMaxx!) is fantastic!! I was overwhelmed with excitement when my mom and I spotted the Philosophy products in the health/beauty section of the store. Here's a little iphone picture I took of some of the display. It was nestled in between other beauty products. Here's the products I got: 2 Lit from Within Cream Blushes in "look on the bright side" & "feel warm all over"- a bright, cool pink & a shimmery pinky/gold/coral that reminds me of a cream version of Nars Orgasm 1 Angel Kiss Lip Gloss in "pretty please 01"- a sheer pink 1 Amazing Grace Shimmering Face Powder in "amazing grace"--a pearly, baby pink powder highlighter 1

Hey everyone! Long time no blog! I'm sorry for the huge lack of posts lately--I just moved a week ago and needless to say, the whole process has been busy and exhausting! Now that I'm settled in I'm ready to get back into the swing of things. Here's my fotd--kind of boring on the eyes I know but I always tend to go for neutrals when I wear a brighter lip! I'm also trying out a new Revlon lip product--"Rendezvous" which is part of the new Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain. I'm planning a full review post on it soon!
