Beauties in Bloom

In Pixiwoo's (youtube them if you haven't already!) most recent video, they did a look with gold eyeshadow on the lid and olive green in the crease. I loved it and decided to try it as I've been obsessed with olive-y eyeshadows for the past few months! I used more of a brown on the lid instead though. I was at Walgreens and finally decided to purchase another Wet n Wild 8 pan palette. I really love the blue palette, Blue Had Me At Hello (see my other post here ! It's one of my very first blog posts too! hehe) and decided why not!  It was $4.99 and for this type of quality, its a complete steal. Here's some pictures and very hastily done swatches! Swatched the left column top to bottom first, then right column! Are these pigmented or what! The Wet N Wild eyeshadows are really buttery soft and very vibrant. The only bad thing is that they are almost too  soft, so you have to be very careful when applying. Make sure to pat them onto a good base to avoid lots of fallout and don't over blend! I bought Mac Morange on a whim recently, and it is the brightest, boldest color I personally own. I absolutely love it but on me, it looks awful without a lipgloss on top to tone it down a tiny bit. My lips are still a vibrant orange, but not as neon! Here's a realllly simple (hopefully not too boring) neutral look I did to pair with it.
