Hey everyone! Happy new year! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and a safe New Years! I apologize for the nearly three month hiatus but I'm glad to be back :) I thought I'd start of 2013 with a fun little tag focusing on some daily staples I use all the time! I've seen this tag go around the blogging community for a while (first time I saw it was from the lovely ladies behind  A Brunette Duet !) and thought it would be fun to do even though i knew the number i would see after calculating all the items would terrify me!! To be honest, I think it's really easy to get products on some sort of discount if you're patient enough--whether it's a Sephora 20% sale, a CVS sale, or getting a deal at a Cosmetic Company Outlet. Haven't done one of these all summer (lazy i knowww) but here's some stuff I loved a lot during the month of August! theBalm Mary Lou Manizer : this was in my May favorites when i first got it, but i'm glad to say i am still completely obsesssed with it. seriously gives you the prettiest glow ever. here's my initial post about it HERE . OPI On Collins Ave. Nail Polish : Wore this color on my toes for basically the entire month (still keeping it on my toes right now too!) and pretty frequently on my fingers. The color just screams hot weather and summer to me! It's a creamy bright red-orange (not too red though).  Its bright and bold and perfect for summer! I've been wanting to dedicate a post to TheBalm's Mary-Lou Manizer because i think it's really a beautiful product! I've had it for a little over 2 weeks and I can already say that it is one of my favorite products ever! Here's some pictures... Cute packaging! As you can see it's a beautiful golden-y beige champagne highlighter that you can use to highlight your cheeks, eyeshadow, brow bone, decolletage, etc.. Swatched on the left (one swipe!) and blended out on the right It is GORGEOUS! The pigmentation is amazing, you only need the tiniest bit to blend onto your cheek bones to give you a beautiful, natural looking, ethereal glow. There is no heavy glitter, it just has a subtle sheen to it and even though it's a powder product, the texture is so soft it's almost cream-like.
